Sandwich type roofs:
The double or sandwich roof is that which, as the name itself indicates, has two plaques of fibrocement or metallic plating on top and bottom and the insulation in the middle, which could be a polyurethane core, expanded polystyrene or fibreglass or mineral wool.
This system of inclined sandwich type roofs, formed by two trapezial metal plates with inclusion of fibre wool, is much used in the construction of industrial warehouses.
