Self-supporting roofs are membrane type enclosures or roofs which uniformly distribute the pressures received, either of a thermal origin or climactic of any type.
These pressures are distributed uniformly amongst the walls, with the latter contributing to the spreading of the load and its linear and uniform transmission to the foundations. The spurs thereby also cooperate and contribute to the distribution of the roof load.
