Thermal Insulation
Is achieved through synthetic or natural textiles for example a blanket of fibreglass of some 80mm thickness, which is placed under the roof material and is spread across a support net extended over the footings. In this way, as well as the thermal insulation itself, the appearance of condensation inside the building is also avoided.
If necessary, a second insulating blanket can also be placed on the false roof. As well as fibre glass, there are also other types of insulation, such as rock wool, polyethylene, etc, but without doubt natural projected cork is the most ecological and effective insulator as it has a temperature range inherent to cork of approximately 0ºC to 35ºC.
